“It takes a certain amount of faith and naiveté to start a business,” Seidman says. “It’s much easier to see the competition, see the risk and what could go wrong when you really focus on that. Research yields a lot of reasons not to do something. Now I understand the kind of research entrepreneurs are doing. It’s around target customers, their problems, and the one problem that you are trying to solve.”
