171 years ago, on March 17, 1842, 90 people marched through the streets of New Haven, Connecticut, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. Needless to say, they didn’t have much of a technological pull back then.
The parade is now one of the largest Irish events in New England, and with bigger crowds comes more technology. They’re on the web, Twitter, Facebook, and this year, Yapp.
